Hi, I’m Jackie

I’m a scientist who married my high school sweetheart, had a baby, and left the lab to cultivate a beautiful life full of joy, love, and freedom. My photography has allowed me to discover my greater purpose in helping women feel seen, understand their self worth, and live their best lives.

A life well-lived is rooted in love, connection, and family.

These days are short, these moments are fleeting, and you know that in the end what matters most is the joy that we experience in our lives with the ones that we love most.

An exceptional photo can make you feel exactly how you felt in that moment the camera shutter clicked. When the lighting, the emotion, and composition all align, they tell a story that can take you back in an instant. But I know that’s not all you want.

You want to remember how beautiful you felt, and it’s my job to deliver that experience for you.

The number one thing that I hear from my clients is that I made them feel comfortable.

Clients book me because they love how natural my images feel. They love that they can relax and be present in the moment and know that I will take care of the rest.

That feeling of romance in my images? That comes from marrying my high school sweetheart, my one and only love, Matt.

Each moment is seen through the lens of a beautiful dream, shaping every facet of my art.

My keen eye for what looks flattering comes from my experience working with women in all stages of life - women who are about to get married, women who are about to have babies, and women who are in their postpartum journey.

I am one of those women, so you can trust me when I say that I get you. I get that you want to look back and remember these remarkable moments feeling beautiful and confident. I see you and this life you are cultivating for yourself and your family.

Meet Jackie

I’ve had a lifelong love of photography, but it became a burning passion when I was in graduate school. Searching for an artistic outlet after endless days in a biomedical research lab, I would bring my camera with me everywhere. I would explore Southern California finding beauty in nature, and shoot events for my graduate program. Word got out and pretty soon Matt and I were photographing weddings for friends and acquaintances.

I was completely hooked. What started as a fun hobby, blossomed into a full-blown side hustle. As my business grew, I had to do some deep soul-searching. I thought I knew the path that I was on to becoming a research professor, but I didn’t expect to find that my values and purpose aligned elsewhere.

In the push for women to reach the top in their careers, we forget that it can come with a sacrifice in other areas of life. I discovered that building this business of mine gives me joy and freedom to have my time and flexibility back. I learned how gratifying it is to serve others in a way that I’m wildly passionate about. And most of all, I found pride in what I have been able to accomplish for myself. To share my gifts with the world and empower women to preserve their legacies has truly been fulfilling.

We have since moved back to Seattle, our hometown, where we have settled in with our two kiddos Arthur and Eleanor and our funny cat Lorne.

Meet Matt

Second shooter and dad-of-the-year

I truly could not be where I am today without the support of Matt. He is a Renaissance man in every way. Matt can be seen cooking with a scotch in hand, reading Arthur bedtime stories, teaching high school chemistry, spouting random historical facts, and writing his next fantasy fiction novel. Matt is making his next move currently in law school.

Matt has been there from the beginning as a second shooter on wedding days providing his impeccable eye for candid moments. He thrives off the energy of people and dives right into the crowd on the dance floor. There’s nothing better than to have a seamless partnership with Matt, who truly deserves the title “dad-of-the-year”.
