In 2017, we met Kendall and Marco in the city of love – Paris. Although we were all living in SoCal at the time, as fate would have it, we happened to be traveling in the same city at the same time. So we got to photograph the two of them and enjoyed getting to know them – they were just so giddy in love, and it was so obvious the moment we met them.

Fast forward to 2018, and we ended up working with Kendall on numerous occasions. But she wanted to make her and Marco’s couples’ session a yearly tradition. So we set up a shoot date in November. And a couple weeks prior, we got a text from Marco saying he wanted to just chat on the phone quickly about a few things. Cue the excitement!

Marco had been working all year with Susie Saltzman to design the perfect engagement ring for Kendall. Three stones that formed what looked like one diamond in a unique banded shape. Simple yet elegant and completely one of a kind!

From his proposal vision, we planned out the best way to cue him dropping down on one knee. Matt went over to their hotel in the morning while Kendall was getting her hair and makeup done with Beauty by Stacey, so Marco could covertly slip him that gorgeous ring without Kendall knowing a thing.

Mid-way through the shoot, Marco got his cue and got down on one knee. Through tears, Kendall said yes, and you can just see how happy and excited these two are! It gives us no greater joy than to be able to capture such a special moment, especially for these two that we’ve gotten to know so well over the past couple years. So happy for you both and again, a huge congratulations!
