Hey there

This Montana wedding had precisely the Montana weather you would expect for spring near the mountains, but Jenna and Tucker didn’t let the icy wind dampen their spirits as they were married in front of their very close family and friends.

I met Jenna and Tucker through Jenna’s sister Claire, who got married last fall in Laguna Beach. These two sisters are so close in age, that it was only fitting that Jenna’s wedding came soon after. And it was such a blessing to be able to work with their family again. Claire even gave Jenna “something borrowed” to help Jenna finish off her romantic bridal look. To compliment Jenna’s ethereal gown with beautiful lace appliqué, Claire loaned Jenna her wedding shoes and delicate bracelet and earrings. And Jenna chose pastel florals to nestle in to her loose romantic curls.

There were times during the day where the sun came out, times when it was snowing, times when it was windy, and times when it was all three all at once. As everyone liked to say at the wedding, “that’s Montana for ya”. Jenna and Tucker had rented a beautiful Airbnb just outside of Missoula to host their wedding day. Nestled amongst the tall pine trees at the foot of stunning mountains, this rustic property was the perfect location for an intimate event.

I loved the way that Jenna and Tucker incorporated their families into their day. They set aside time for a private moment with just their parents to give them gifts honoring them and thanking them for helping shape who they are today. It was clear how close they were with their parents, with both Jenna and Tucker choosing to have their moms help them get ready before the ceremony. So many teary-eyed moments, for Tucker in particular, which was the sweetest thing. Those mom and son moments get me every time!

After their windy ceremony overlooking the mountains, Jenna and Tucker had a happy hour reception for their guests where they got to catch up and re-connect, dance, and toast. They ended their beautiful day back in Missoula with just their family at a small wine cellar for dinner.

I cannot be happier for Jenna and Tucker, and days like this are such a dream because the focus was truly on what mattered most, celebrating their love with their friends and family.
