This Thornewood Castle wedding was straight out of a fairytale. When we first met Isabella, she had already said yes to her Ines di Santo wedding gown. She said it was the top priority for her wedding day. She hadn’t even settled on her venue yet! But Thornewood Castle was the perfect Seattle venue for her wedding day and when you see her stunning bridal look, you’ll understand why!

English tudor style venue in Seattle

Thornewood Castle is a tudor style English manor just south of Seattle that boasts a beautiful garden and grand archways. With fairytale fantasy details throughout, Thornewood’s stunning lake view is not to be missed. Isabella and Jonathan’s ceremony took place in the enclosed garden with the reception on the back lawn overlooking the water.

Our bride is an avid fantasy novel reader and her wedding design infused this passion throughout. Her butterfly motif could be seen in her shoes, nails, hers and her moms tattoos, and on her stunning old world wedding invitations. She assigned different authors’ names to each reception table. And all of her design choices blended so well with the fairytale statues around the Thornewood property. Check out the stag overlooking their reception!

Kindhearted couple and families

These two kind souls are clearly so in love, and planned a dreamy wedding day complete with a last kiss fit for a princess under twinkling sparklers. We could not be more thrilled to work with such kindhearted families for both their rehearsal dinner and wedding day. And we wish them all the best in their marriage!
