Hey there

We loved this Admiral’s House wedding with our sweet couple Sarah and Corey! Set against the Seattle skyline backdrop, this classic estate wedding had all the makings of a beautiful white wedding. The couple chose custom stationary including their own custom crest to be used throughout the wedding day. With pops of greys, greens and gold, they carried the elegance throughout in the bridesmaids dress selection, the lounge seating, custom bar, and reception space details.

Mixing wedding traditions

The bride, Sarah, highlighted her Japanese and Assyrian heritage, honoring her mother and father. Sarah and Corey chose to fly the Assyrian flag alongside their custom crest flag (and Cubs a nod to the groom’s hometown of Boston). And they hung a show-stopping centerpiece over their dance floor, which incorporated 1000 paper cranes. This made for a stunning focal point to their entire reception space. The groom incorporated his heritage by including a family heirloom chuppah for the ceremony. And at the end of the night, the couple danced the Horah, a Jewish tradition.

Personalized wedding details

The couple also represented their dog Frankie by including artwork on their custom flower toss bags and cocktail napkins.

A significant part of personalizing their wedding, Sarah and Corey wanted to showcase Seattle to their guests. They included Seattle-based vendors and touches of Seattle throughout the day. Most importantly Sarah and Corey chose a space that guests could truly marvel at Seattle from. Guests were wowed by the views of Seattle area sites from atop the hill that the Admiral’s House wedding venue sits on.

Beautiful Seattle Wedding

Once dancing started the bride changed into a second outfit. With feathers on the sleeves, this sparkly one-piece pantsuit was super fun and reflected her glam style. We hope you enjoy Sarah and Corey’s wedding and all the inspiring details that went into making their day so special. This Admiral’s House wedding is truly one to not be missed!
